With over two decades of experience in the field of psychotherapy, Lauren Lappe has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their mental health. Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, Lauren is known for her compassionate and client-centered approach.
Throughout her career, she has worked in various settings, including private practice and community mental health centers, providing therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and KAP, Lauren tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Her extensive experience has equipped her with the skills to support individuals through life’s challenges, helping them achieve greater emotional well-being and personal growth.
In addition to her clinical work, Lauren is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly participates in workshops and seminars to stay current with the latest advancements in psychotherapy.
When not working with clients, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, swimming and yoga.
Baylee Hux, M.S. is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Counseling from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University. She enjoys working with diverse populations of all ages, with specific focus in the child and adolescent population. She has worked in various settings, including private practice and community mental health centers, providing therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Baylee pulls from a variety of therapeutic approaches such as CBT, person-centered, psychoanalysis, play therapy, and DBT, tailoring her approach to the needs of her clients. Prior to becoming a mental health therapist, Baylee worked as a Registered Behavior Technician with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum to help them reach their goals, while gaining independence. In tandem with her clinical work, Baylee is continuing her education through a Doctor of Psychology program in Clinical Psychology through Capella University to provide a holistic care approach for her clients. She also continues her training through attending workshops and seminars to be knowledgeable about advances in psychotherapy and assessment.
Baylee uses empathy, compassion, and appropriate humor to help her clients work through a wide variety of struggles. She specifically aids in anxiety, depression, life transitions, personal identity, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is open to working with any client who is open to the therapeutic process and welcomes each client with open arms. She looks forward to continuing to support her clients to the best of her ability to reach their goals and aid in emotional/personal growth.
When not working, Baylee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing adult coed soccer, reading, and playing with her puppy, Shadow..
